They got the Best fried chicken they close late at night this place is busy all the time and got fresh fried chicken if y’all get it once y’all be going back again and again I usually drive 40 minutes just to get it whenever I want some good fried chicken deff recommend try it once
I used to come here 10 years ago and I love their food and how late they are open. I didnt catch the name of the person who served me, but I can tell you he did an excellent job making sure the food was fresh, presentable, and came out fast. I order the chicken over rice for me and my gf, and it was so good we had it again the next night. I would recommend their fried chicken but for me i will always order the chicken over rice. The only bad thing I can mention is the loiterers outside asking for change and money as they can be agressive when you don’t give. Overall would recommend Chicken City to anyone.
I Ordered the 5pc chicken with fries. Chicken was juicy and delicious. Would recommend. Ordered in the restaurant and food was done quick.

The chicken here was very good. Some people might think the chicken portion was a little bit small, but I had the 3 piece that included chicken, ( A very good, mildly seasoned) rice, a small salad, and a soda for about 8 bucks, And it was plenty for lunch. The chicken is a little more on the crispy side, not breaded like some places. You can also get burgers cheese steaks and a few other things here. The owner cooked my food while I waited, he was very friendly and it didn't take long. It is not the cleanest restaurant, but this is a take out place- there are no chairs or tables. Parking can be tight depending on how many people are at the gas station and convenience store next to it.
This is one of my favorite stops we call it the ranch house cuz that's what it used to be but the new guys are just as good I think they're Pakistani regardless thru make amazing fried chicken and unbelievable milk shake a real milk shake old school they make a wonderful grilled chicken and rice and salad they make my favorite boneless buffalo wings 6 or 9 piece my wife gets her fried Tilapia and there's a much bigger variety to fit it all in to this review but id definitely recommend it prices are very fair owners ate good people they've been in Hartford CT long time.
